Ukrainian mime performer, theater maker and painter living and working in Amsterdam (The Netherlands). Graduated from the pantomime department at the Kyiv’s National College of Circus (2004-2007). As her final exam for finishing the MAPA (Moving Academy for Performing Arts - Amsterdam) 3 years curriculum with a Master diploma (2007-2010) in Kyiv she established Mime Wave. In 2010 moved to Amsterdam for the Dutch mime education. In 2014 finished her 4 years education at the Mime department of Theaterschool in Amsterdam (AHK Amsterdamse Hoogeshool voor de Kunsten). She continues to work on Mime Wave with goals as creating international cultural collaborations and combining different disciplines in a theater with mime as a starting point. In 2019 Anastasiia founded Mime Wave Festival, first edition took place in her hometown Kyiv. Summer 2020 she started a new initiative Mime fabriek together with Fabián Santarciel de la Quintana and Matteo Bifulco. It is a mime studio which hopefully will become a meeting point for mime in Amsterdam. At this moment she is working as mime teacher at the Codarts University (Rotterdam) and pre-theater education in Amsterdam. Performing her own performance “Yellow” for kids and organizing mime workshops and lectures.
