Jump out of the water

Give & take by hanging out. The rescuer is using a counterweight to keep the tension all the way down till the moment of pulling up. Pelvis and centre is key to the stability and power of the rescuer. Breathing together is essential for timing and tension! Use the sponge effect for the pull/jump up!
